Is a bus or train still your preferred method of transportation?

CoronaVirus taught us a lot. Society, infrastructure, proper access to health care AND more about the spread of germs. From Television commercials telling us how to wash our hands for a proper 20 seconds or public health announcements from Chancellor Merkle, information came bounding in on how to be a respectful community member and citizen through good hygiene.

In the current state everyone is wearing masks but what separate precautions does one take in a post corona world? What are we to do in the normal in terms of how we view public spaces and how to interact with them.

For many commuters in Berlin one public space many want to avoid as much as possible in a post corona world is the public transit system. Even with restrictions in place like face masks the general feeling is that when public transportation in confined spaces can be avoided it should.

While at times there are no other options for many trips there are! We asked 3 ePilot team members their favorite way to commute:

I love the outdoors and if I can find a way to get some physical activity into my commute I try to! However some trips are simply too long for me on my bike and in those instances I typically would take the s-bahn or u-bahn. Now I am testing out e-bikes to still get the same fresh air.

I enjoy renting cars for ease and convenience. After Corona I am rethinking my environmental impact and looking for greener ways to drive.

As the weather is getting nicer I have decided to try our e-scooters. I was a little nervous at first but now I think they are a really fun way to commute.
